Doctor Hatfield graduated from Montana State University-Billings with the distinction of High Honors. He graduated medical school from the University of Nevada in 1993 and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

He completed a one year internship in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following his internship, he completed a three year residency training program in dermatology at UAMS and was board certified in 1997. He currently practices Dermatology in Batesville, Arkansas.

Dr. Hatfield is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
